Two kinds of work. The tests have a format to learn and a clock to beat; the classes are for the English underneath them.
Timed practice in the real format, with marking on the same rubric the test itself uses.
Every question type, banded by difficulty, plus full-length mock forms with an estimated score out of 160.
General Training reading and writing under exam conditions, marked band by band.
Reading, listening, speaking and writing in the iBT format.
The Academic format, with the integrated task types scored together.
Taught courses for the skills a practice bank cannot drill on its own.
Fluency, pronunciation and the confidence to keep talking when a sentence goes wrong.
Reading for speed and for detail: skimming, inference, and the vocabulary that carries academic text.
Structure first, then grammar and range — the order in which writing actually improves.
Multiple choice is cheap to mark, so it is what most preparation offers. The DET decides much of your result on writing and speaking, and those have to be read by something that can read.
All 13 question types, grouped by reading, listening, writing and speaking, each timed exactly as the real test times it. Difficulty is banded, so you can start where you are rather than where the question bank starts.
Every open answer comes back with the errors quoted from your own words, the fix, the reason, and a rewrite kept at your level. Spoken answers are transcribed first and marked on grammar and range, never on the recogniser's punctuation.
Sit a complete timed form end to end and get a scored breakdown by section, so you find out which skill costs you marks before the day it counts.
Every answer, score and correction is kept against a question reference you can cite. Re-reading what you wrote three weeks ago is the fastest way to see whether anything has actually changed.
The study plan stays shut until there is enough work to reason from — one mock test, or fifty distinct questions. Until then it says so, rather than inventing a weakness.
Words you failed to recognise in Read & Select are captured automatically and returned on a widening review interval. Nobody has to build a word list by hand.
Four steps, then round again. The loop is the point — a single session tells you very little, and twenty tell you almost everything.
Pick a skill, a question type and a difficulty band — or open the study plan and let your own results choose.
Five seconds to judge a word. Ninety seconds to speak. One minute to describe a photograph. The clock is part of the skill.
A score, the specific errors, and a corrected version you could plausibly have written yourself.
Weakest skill first, updated every time new scored work comes in. Then round again.
Most apps will tell you what to work on before you have answered anything, because a confident recommendation feels like value. A recommendation drawn from four answers is a coin toss with a progress bar attached.
Here the study plan stays shut until there is enough evidence to reason from — one completed mock test, or fifty distinct questions. Until then it shows you how far off that is, and nothing else.
Building your performance baseline
Finish one mock test, or answer 50 distinct questions, to unlock recommendations backed by enough evidence.

By an AI marker working from the same criteria the test itself uses, which returns a score with the reasons behind it rather than a number alone. Speaking answers are transcribed first, so you can read back exactly what was heard.
The full-length mock exams give an estimated score out of 160 based on your answers. It is an estimate for deciding whether you are ready, not a guarantee — only the official test produces an official score.
